1. Power On the Cube
Begin by attaching the control box to the HyperCube. Then, plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and connect it to the control box.
2. Select Light Mode
Choose between three available modes:
- Kaleidoscopic – The default pattern
- Meditative – Slower, ambient transitions
- Sound Reactive – Real-time response to music and ambient sound
3. Connect to the Mobile App
Pair the device via the compatible mobile app to unlock full customization. Adjust:
- Pattern playback
- Brightness and speed
- Color palette and symmetry
- Animation style
4. Activate Sound Reactivity
In Sound Reactive mode, the built-in microphone will automatically detect environment audio and trigger light patterns based on low, mid, and high frequencies.
5. Sync Multiple Cubes (Optional)
For group setups, connect up to 256 units using the app to enable synchronized lighting across multiple displays.

A: To get started, connect the control box to your HeroCube. Then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and attach it to the control box. That’s it - your HeroCube is ready to shine!

A: Once it’s powered on, the HeroCube immediately begins emitting light. By default, it runs in Kaleidoscopic mode, cycling to a new pattern every 60 seconds and shifting to fresh random colors every 10 seconds. You can switch patterns with a single press of the control box button, change modes with a double press, and hold the button for 2 seconds to turn the LEDs off. For deeper customization, connect through the app.

A: Yes! While the app unlocks full customization and advanced features, the HeroCube functions completely on its own. Patterns can be cycled with a single button press, modes with a double press, and the cube can be powered down with a long press. Syncing multiple HeroCubes, however, requires a WiFi network and the app.

A: Definitely. The HeroCube creates its own WiFi hotspot, so you can connect to it anywhere - whether at a festival, on a camping trip, or in the middle of nowhere. No home network required.

A: A built-in microphone in the control box captures sound, which is analyzed by our software. High, mid, and low frequencies are converted into synchronized lighting effects, producing an incredibly responsive lightshow that brings your music to life. In Sound Reactive mode, the HeroCube cycles through 31 unique patterns. Any other pattern can also be made sound-reactive by syncing its brightness to the beat via the app.

A: Yes. While the Kaleidoscopic mode highlights fast-paced visuals, the Meditative mode offers 24 calm, slower patterns designed for a more soothing vibe.

Reset the WiFi connection by holding the control box button for 10 seconds until the cube’s LEDs flash green. Then retry the connection steps in the manual, including both the standard “Add New Hero-Device” process and the “Can’t Connect” option. It can help to reset WiFi after each attempt.
